In-House Equipment Test-Firing

When installing new process heat equipment into your plant, unforeseen hurtles can cause tremendous delays. These interruptions can be very costly and cause many headaches.

One way to minimize setbacks is to have Stelter & Brinck test and/or fire your process heat equipment prior to installation. S&B’s in-house equipment test-fire program helps you reduce on-site start-up time and thus, adhere to tight schedules.

All process heat equipment manufactured by Stelter & Brinck is tested and/or fired at the factory prior to shipment. All equipment is thoroughly examined by S&B’s trained factory technicians. These techs adhere to an in-depth 81-point inspection check list which includes, but is not limited to, testing the design flow rates, safety circuits, sensors, electrical components, and the burner capacity.

We are capable of firing propane, fuel oil or natural gas up to 30 MM Btu/Hr. Stelter & Brinck is even capable of duplicating overseas electric power with our in-house generator. The results of all tests are recorded and provided to the customer, along with all factory limit settings, flow rates and control settings.
